Casper’s Sinclair Refinery Hires Hundreds of Workers for Massive Overhaul

The Sinclair Refinery in Casper is undergoing one of its most significant overhauls since it opened in 1923, and hiring people by the hundreds in the process.

The refinery was shut down for all of April, and will remain closed through May, as the company replaces, or renovates, nearly all of its major equipment including the steam boilers used to power many of the operations, oil storage tanks and crude units that initiate the oil refining process.
