|Senior Process Engineer||Full-time||Sinclair Oil Corporation has a full-time opening in its Corporate Capital Project Group located in Salt Lake City, Utah, for a Senior Process Engineer. Job responsibilities will include: Performing process evaluations on new and existing process technologies used at the Sinclair and Casper, Wyoming refineries; Supporting project development and execution on capital projects that are managed by the Capital Project Group which involves working with 3rd party engineering companies to develop the process design for new projects and to participate as a member of the Project Teams managing the execution of each project; Interacting with refinery operations and technical services personnel; as well as responsible for supporting the commissioning of new facilities. |Construction Supervisor||Full-Time||Located at Sinclair Refinery. Employee will supervise construction activities in the field from start to finish and act as a liaison between SWRC Engineering and the contractors performing the work to ensure the work is completed in accordance with SWRC procedures and engineering plans and work to resolve any issues. Works with operations personnel to ensure that planned construction activities can be performed safely each day and coordinates additional contractor support as needed including scaffolding, crane work, insulation, heat tracing and painting. Keeps daily log of all activities and serves as competent person on all excavation permits. |Inspection Engineer||Full-Time||Located at Sinclair Refinery. Sinclair Oil Corporation has an immediate opening for an Inspection Engineer reporting directly to the Sinclair Refinery Inspection Manager located in Sinclair, Wyoming. The position will primarily be responsible for providing technical support to the refinery’s fixed equipment inspection department. Job tasks include, but not limited to, performing Fitness-for-Service evaluations on fixed equipment and piping, performing remaining life determinations, providing engineering evaluations and scopes for inspection-related work, and interpreting and applying applicable codes and standards for the inspection department. Additional duties include leading or participating in incident investigations, conducting site audits, assisting with job safety analyses and carrying out any additional assignments as directed by the Inspection Manager. This position coordinates the refinery’s inspection program for areas of the plant for on-stream data collection/analysis and turnaround planning and execution. Position will ensure that all equipment and piping is up to date on external, internal, and Ultrasonic Testing inspections and that they are in serviceable condition in accordance with American Petroleum Institute and American Society of Mechanical Engineers Code. Maintains a liaison with operations, maintenance, and engineering with respect to mechanical integrity for fixed equipment.
